My husband was on 2 very potent medications for gout when I joined MA in Feb 1997. He began taking OPC while taking the 2 meds for gout and then decided to go cold turkey when his prescriptions ran out. Guess what? He has not had a return of the gout or the kidney stones that he had on average once a year. He has had 7 different trips to the local ER for kidney stones until OPC. He is convinced that OPC has made the difference. My husband now takes Oxygen Plus and Isochrome. Don't know if either is what keeps his gout away but he has not had a recurrence in 2 years. He also takes Aloe but not regularly. Of course, 2 caps of OPC every day but that goes without saying.

I was just the other day watching the "Quest For Health" video.....about the effects of OPC on the blood under a microscope. In the video the Doctor points out Uric acid crystals, (the reason for the pain of GOUT) Gout is listed under Arthritis in "ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE". It is a form of arthritis, a build-up of uric acid crystals. Very Painful. Anyway, on the video, the uric acid crystals begin to break up and disappear, 20 minutes after taking OPC. There are dietary limitations which your person is probably aware of. He/she should also be taking Vitamin B-12 w/ folic acid. If he were mine I would say.....OPC,B-12,and enzymes. I used to have Gout attacks about every 3 months. Since starting on OPC-3 I have had just one attack in 2 years. During that one acute flare-up, the OPC-3 did not help. After an MD who also is in Market America recommended Ultimate Aloe, I started to get pain relief in 4 hours and could walk without a cane the next day. Aloe worked for me!

Hello Team!!! I have been on Opc -3 for my gout since coming into the business in March..Have been doing GREAT!!! No Other Medicine since, till this week... Have a self inflicted case from seafood and cajun at the same time...Does any one have anything they add to the opc-3????Am also taking Select and Aloe... Next, need to find what I can recommend to someone instead of St. John's Wart.. They are taking it for memory and depression...
